Governor Ted Strickland, in cooperation wiht the Human Society of the United States, (HSUS) has threatened to give HSUS a set of regulations, BY EXECUTIVE ORDER, (meaing we have no say OR vote in the issue), that HSUS has not been able to get through the Ohio legislature in over thirty years!!!! Strickland has stated that he may ban the sale and breeding of all large constrictor snakes, crocodilians, large monitors and many other large, so called “exotic” animals in the State of Ohio!
THIS IS A URGENT CALL TO EVERYONE WHO HAS AN INTEREST IN REPTILES!!!! If this is put into effect by the Governor, who is siding with the extremist animal rights organizations, then eventually, owning any reptile in the State could possibly be banned in the near future.
A Short statement in a very professional way is all that is needed.
